Rachel Parrish was born in England. She graduated from Manchester Polythecnic with a Diploma in Math Education, before coming to the United States to go to college. She was awarded the Anne Summers Art Education Scholarship in 1995. She graduated from BYU with a degree in Art Education and taught in the public school system in California, before coming to Telos. Her focus has always been the therapeutic nature of Art. In college, she participated in the "Kids Against Violence" program in Salt Lake City: A program that helped children involved in gang violence to find community and peace in art. She has taught Art at Telos for the past four years.
As the mother of four, there isn't alot of spare time but when there is she loves to paint, cook, and run!
